Persephone Market Garden

2019 CSA sign-up now open!

Thanks to the generosity of one of our members, we have 4 subsidized shares available again this year. Anyone interested just needs to send me a note about why they would like a share and what's preventing them from purchasing one -- no need for financial details, just the big picture.

Let’s get gardening together in 2019

Persephone Market Garden is 100 acres of forest, swamp, pasture and vegetable fields, located between Owen Sound and Sauble Beach. We strive to grow food that is good, clean & fair (inspired by Slow Food)! Good; grown to be delicious and nutritious. Clean; grown in a way that protects natural resources, the farmer's health and eater's health. Fair; affordable for the eater and a living wage for the farmer.

We grow more than 35 types of vegetables, which you can get through our CSA program, at select local restaurants and through Eat Local Grey Bruce. We also have grassfed lamb available throughout the autumn and winter, along with fleeces for fibre arts in spring.

We live at the base of the beautiful Bruce Peninsula and acknowledge that this is the traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.
